Trofeo nazionale Maxi Scooter 2010 - Cat. S.SPORT
VALLELUNGA - 13 giugno
The International raceway of Vallelunga (Rome) has hosted the third competition of the Maxiscooter National Trophy.
Thirty-one pilots at the start have attended this race making the first world level maxiscooter competition.
During the qualifying Mendogho Marvin (17), from the Nonno Sport Team, was involved in a ruinous crash. Mangiascarpa Andrea, the mechanic of the team, has made an incredibile work putting the T-Max bike’s pieces back together in just two hours. Mendogho has managed to get qualified for the first lane but he has crashed again and, started third from the last position, he went back to the sixt position.
Rapicavoli Gianluca, from the “La Greca” team, has been the star of the race crossing the finishing line leading of twenty-eight seconds. An easy race after Mendogho has crashed. “Iam very delighted for this success that I want to dedicate to my team and, above all, to Mario La Greca who is also my trainer” Rapicavoli has disclosed after the race.
If Rapicavoli has been the champion Bastianini Ermanno, from Salvatori Roma Team, has been the real and unexpected surprise and that’s why we want to spend few words on him. In fact he has taken part into the Maxiscooter national trophy for the first time and a Gilera Nexus 500 has been his bike. Salvatori Luigi’s skilled hands have set the bike very well and helped Bastianini to mark the second time during the qualifying and the second position just after Rapicavoli.
Alvisi Alessandro, from Tittozzi Moto Roma Team, is placed in third position. His T-Max main features were a remarkable up-side down fork and a totaly re-visited steering.
Even if, at the beginning, Alvisi had some problems he eventually has managed to mark a good result and to make Tittozzi proud after the engine failure happened during the qualifying.
The fourth and fifth position went to two Rome-based teams: Moms Motor (pilot Valentini Yari) and Ceccarelli Racing (Gabrielli Giovanni) respectively. The two team technicians, Ceccarelli Luigi and Oberdan Scotti, were delighted after solving the problems that have come up during the qualifying.
